There’s no shortage of activities here at Tigertail Lake Recreational Center for both students and guests! There’s always something new and fun to try no matter how many times you visit. Take up windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and more on our 5-acre lake. Challenge your friends on our multi-tower, 40-foot high ropes course or try your hand at sailing!
The Tigertail Lake Recreational Center ropes course is the crown jewel of South Florida's challenge course programs, a shining example of the exciting nature of a well-designed ropes course. Featuring four interconnected towers, the TTLRC Ropes Course features eight challenging "high ropes" initiatives and hundreds of ground-level team-building initiatives. Each one is designed to help you and your friends or colleagues work together, overcome obstacles, and reach your goals.
Tigertail Lake Recreational Center's equipment and facilities are free for Broward College students, with a few exceptions . The facility is open to the public so if your friends aren't Broward College students, don't worry; it doesn't cost very much to participate in all the fun.

Tigertail Lake Recreational Center offers a variety of classes and courses designed to build new skills in a variety of areas. Try our SCUBA program, which features full Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) certified courses; become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard or learn critical life-saving skills like First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) in our full-length courses to fit any schedule!
