Do you have some free time between classes? At Tigertail Lake, we know how to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Students have full access to all the activities at Tigertail Lake Recreational Center, including:
First time doing this, or are you an expert? Daring yourself to try something new? Tigertail Lake offers you a Ropes & Challenge Course. Adrenaline, balance and "I can do it!" will be at the front of your mind. Test your skills on the ropes course, including the climbing wall, cargo net, and our famous Tiger Tubes!
Broward College students may participate in all the rental activities (kayaks, canoes, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailboat rentals) for a discounted rate! Reservations aren’t necessary but are encouraged through our online reservation system. You'll make your reservation and pay in full, and when you come to the lake please bring a valid Broward College ID card or know their Broward College student number to verify “active” status as a student in order to take advantage of these special rates (we'll refund the difference).
Tigertail Lake Recreational Center offers a variety of classes and courses designed to build new skills in a variety of areas. Try our SCUBA program, which features full Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) certified courses, become an American Red Cross certified lifeguard or learn critical life-saving skills like First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated
External Defibrillators (AED) in our full-length courses to fit into any schedule!
Tigertail Lake Recreational Center’s equipment and facilities are, for the most part, free for Broward College students. However, there are a few exceptions, and the facility is open to the public so if your friends aren’t Broward College students, don’t worry!,it doesn’t cost very much to participateCosts are very reasonable so everyone can join in on all the fun!
